New Immigration Laws

The new immigration laws for Panama go into effect the 27th of August, 2008, and Jerin Tate jerintate@yahoo.com translated all 64 pages into English for your reference.

Anybody who has already submitted documents for a visa are still held
under the old rules.

Olympic Gold for Panama

25 year old Irving Saladino from Colon, Panama today won Panama's first Olympic Gold in the long jump.

Saladinos jump of 8.34 meters was below his best this year but today it was enough to grab the Gold.

Panama is estatic and knowing this country he will recieve a hero's welcome on his return and who knows maybe even a national holiday.
